The National Audubon Society celebrated its centennial by honoring the Rockefeller family for their extraordinary dedication to conservation with its 2005 Audubon Medal at a dinner that was held at the American Museum of Natural History. Audubon Greenwich also celebrated 100 years of conservation with an elegant dinner dance at the Belle Haven Club in Greenwich. Dallas art collectors Cindy and Howard Rachofsky hosted the seventh annual Two by Two for AIDS and Art benefit that was held at their Richard Meier–designed Dallas home, the Rachofsky House. The event benefiting amfAR and the Dallas Museum of Art raised $2.2 million.
