Love
Is All You Need
Love was a potent theme for more than 300 guests
who came to the Audubon Flower Power Dinner Dance. The
fun evening, chaired by Joni and Kevin Kimberlin, raised
$450,000 for educational programs at the Greenwich Audubon
Center. National Audubon Society president John Flicker
was in attendance.
The Inner-City Foundation for Charity & Education
raised $1.8 million at its 13th annual benefit dinner
held at the Hyatt Regency Greenwich. Proceeds will support
agencies and programs throughout Fairfield County. More
than 850 guests attended the event, emceed by Bob Wright.
Tom Brokaw, anchor and managing editor of NBC Nightly
News, was the featured speaker. Also at the event: Jeffrey
Immelt, GE chairman/CEO; Anne M. Mulcahy, chair of the
corporate committee; and benefit committee co-chair
Suzanne Wright.
