Vanessa Williams dazzled 250 guests with her holiday performance at The Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts's Gala Night of Stars Benefit in December (first four photos, clockwise from left). This evening of entertainment and gourmet dining at the Cohen Pavilion raised funds for the center's educational programs. Helen K. Persson chaired the benefit; co-chairs were Elaine Gimelstob and Kathryn C. Vecellio. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis M. Schott and Mr. and Mrs. Jack N. Friedman sponsored the dinner. Kravis Center chairman Alexander W. Dreyfoos, Jr., acknowledged H. Irwin and Ellen Levy's $1 million gift to the center's Encore Campaign, which will fund the Cohen Pavilion expansion project.

Henri Barguirdjian and Craig Miller of Graff Jewels hosted a cocktail reception at the store in December in honor of the Norton Museum of Art's Bal des Arts 2005: A Voyage to Valencia, which took place in February and benefited the museum's exhibitions and programs. Graff was grand jewelry sponsor of the Bal des Arts. The guest list included Bal des Arts chairman Sandy Krakoff and her husband, Robert, among others.
