Galas
and Other Gatherings
The
Westchester Arts Council honored those whose programs are
creating a “renaissance” in the county at their
black-tie Renaissance Gala. The event included live and
silent auctions of exotic trips and golf outings. A more
informal happening was the Westchester Arts Council’s
Arts Bash reception co-chaired by Gail
and Barry Shenkman.
The American Cancer Society’s 12th Annual Diamond
Gala Dinner of Champions drew 400 to the Rye Hilton. Brandon
and Maria Steiner were the honorees, and
special guests included sports legends Ron Guidry,
Don Larsen, Joe Klecko,
Joe Morris and Earl “the
Pearl” Monroe.
