Crowned king of Bohemia in 1347, Charles IV sought to make Prague the cultural rival of Paris and Rome. The exhibition draws together some 200 stunning panel paintings, goldsmith’s work, illuminated manuscripts, sculpture, silk embroideries and stained glass. Through January 3, 2006.
