Christine Ott has been singing for private parties and in clubs for the last five years in Chicago, as well as elsewhere in the US and abroad. She began singing as a child and also studied clarinet, saxophone and became an accomplished pianist.
She continued her musical studies at the University of Wisconsin where she became a touring singer and wedding soloist. Christine has also been a member of the Gallery Choir at Holy Name Cathedral for the past 14 years.
Christine began her jazz studies in Chicago at the Old Town School of Folk Music with Jackie Allen and continued with Spider Saloff at The Bloom School of Jazz. During a recent jazz residency at Stanford University, hosted by Branford Marsalis, she studied with Madeline Eastman and Dena DeRose.
She has performed in Chicago at the Green Mill, Pops for Champagne, Civic Opera House, Chicago Cultural Center, Union Station, University Club, GlenView Club, the Bentley Showroom, A Perfect Event and many private homes. She recently sang for a VIP birthday party in St. Barts at Eden Rock .
