Background: Bogert was Chairman and CEO of James C. Edwards Asset Management prior to its 2004 merger with Silvercrest. Prior to joining Edwards as a portfolio manager in 1982, Mr. Bogert was President of Bishop’s Service, a business information company which he and a group of venture investors purchased in 1968.
