Sylvester Miniter is the president of Durham Capital Corporation, a New York investment bank.
Born in 1962, Sylvester Francis Miniter 4th is the son of Catherine Ann Miniter of Annapolis, Md., and Sylvester Francis Miniter 3d of Kiawah Island, S.C. His mother is a registered nurse at the Johns Hopkins Medical Center in Baltimore. His father, who is retired, was a semiconductor chip engineer for the International Business Machines Corporation in Manassas, VA.
