The American
Museum of Natural History held its annual
Winter Dance on February 13. Consistently one
of New York City's most popular junior events,
the evening drew over 700 young sophisticates this
year to celebrate Gold, the spectacular
special exhibition on view through August 19. The
evening featured an intimate dinner for 200 in the
Grand Gallery, followed by dessert and dancing in
the Milstein Hall of Ocean Life.
The
evening's chairmen were Claire Bernard, Zani
Gugelmann, Amanda Hearst, Tinsley Mortimer, Jacqueline
Sackler, and Ivanka Trump. Proceeds from this event
support the Museum's scientific and educational programming.
