On
May 9, New York City's most distinguished
business leaders and philanthropists joined the American
Museum of Natural History at its Fifteenth
Annual Corporate Dinner, to honor Richard
D. Parsons, chairman and chief executive officer,
Time Warner Inc. Museum president Ellen
V. Futter presented Mr. Parsons with the Distinguished
Service to Science and Education Award, in recognition
of his commitment and contributions to science education
and cultural programs.
The Dinner chairmen included Jeffrey L. Bewkes,
president and COO, Time Warner; Museum trustee Victor
F. Ganzi, president and CEO, the Hearst Corporation; William
M. Lewis, Jr., cochairman, Investment Banking,
Lazard Ltd.; Museum trustee Charles Prince,
chairman and CEO, Citigroup Inc.; and Jerry
Speyer, president and CEO, Tishman Speyer.
Proceeds from the Corporate Dinner support ongoing
educational and scientific programs at the Museum.
