The American
Geriatrics Society Foundation for Health in Aging honored
former Senator John Glenn and Mrs. Annie
Glenn; and Group president of Johnson & Johnson's
Pharmaceutical Research and Development, Garry
Neil at its 8th Annual Lifetime of Caring
Gala atThe Pierre Hotel in New York City on
October 17. The event helps support the Foundation's
work to ensure that older people have access to quality
healthcare, and honors those who have made significant
contributions to improving the lives of older adults.
Established by the American Geriatrics Society in
1999, the Foundation for Health in Aging serves as
a bridge between the research and practice of geriatrics
and the public, and advocates on behalf of older adults
and their special health care needs.
