On December 6, the Asia Society held its Annual Dinner at the Waldorf-Astoria in New York City. The evening honored Lakshmi N. Mittal, chairman and CEO, Mittal Steel Company and Charles Prince, chairman and CEO, Citigroup Inc. The Cultural Achievement Award was given to renowned composer and conductor Tan Dun.The Dinner raised $1.6 million. Uma Thurman, was the evening's emcee.
