Autism
Speaks held a Theatre Gala at Westport Country
Playhouse's production of "A Christmas Carol" on
November 30. The evening, which included a
live auction, raised more than $500,000 for Autism
Speaks, an organization dedicated to increasing awareness
about autism and raising funding to support autism
research. Hosting the event were co-chairs Suzanne and Bob
Wright, and Laurie Lister and Judd
Burstein, honorary co-chairs Joanne
Woodward and Paul Newman,
and Elaine and Christopher
Plummer.
