The American Friends of Batsheva hosted a spirited benefit dinner dance at The Pacha Club in New York City on November 14 to celebrate the recent sold-out engagement of the Batsheva Dance Company at the BAM Next Wave Festival.

2007 Benefit Honorary chairs were Ambassador Dan Gillerman and Mrs. Janice Gillerman. Batsheva was formed in 1964 by Martha Graham and Baroness Batsheva De Rothschild. Ohad Naharin was appointed artistic director in 1990. With 250 performances a year in t he world's most prestigious theaters and festivals, Batsheva is celebrated for its bold and innovative artistry. This acclamation has earned the compact, dynamic company the reputation of a leader on the global performing arts map.
