On June
6, Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts hosted
an evening at the Elizabeth Street Garden and Sculpture
Gallery in New York City to celebrate the launch of
their eBay charity auction to benefit Care
For Children. The evening was hosted by Martin
Waechter of Shangri-La and Adelina
Wong Ettelson. Sarah Ferguson,
the Duchess of York was guest of honor.
Care For Children is a Beijing-based nonprofit that
works in partnership with local and national governments
in China to establish foster care programs.
