A performance by the Chamber Music Society.

On
September 19, The Chamber Music Society of
Lincoln Center (CMS)hosted its Opening Night
Celebration, American
Explorations devoted to the spirit of travel and
adventure, to kick off the 2007-2008 season. The celebration
took place at Jazz at Lincoln Center and included a
gala dinner and awards ceremony; the first concert
of the season; and a post-concert reception. Opening
night honored C. Robinson Henrikson,
chairman of the Board, president and CEO of MetLife; Philip
K. Howard, founder and chair of Common Good;
and Robert White, tenor. The evening
raised over $1,000,000 for the Chamber Music Society.
