On Friday, June 24, 2011 over 475 guests enjoyed an elegant start to the summer season at the eighth annual Summer Dinner Dance at the Chicago Botanic Garden, raising $475,000 for the Garden’s conservation, education and research programs.
Heffernan Morgan Designs created the beautiful setting inside the pavilion to reflect the surrounding Esplanade. Passed hors d'oeuvres and dinner were catered by Jewell Events Catering. The Ken Arlen Orchestra played while guests danced the night away.
The Committee for The Summer Dinner Dance was co-chaired by Mr. and Mrs. John H. Bryan of Lake Bluff and Mr. and Mrs. James J. Glasser of Lake Forest.
