December 8, the Medical Research Institute
Council (MRIC) which supports research
initiatives at Children’s Memorial
Hospital held its 2007 Children’s
Ball at the Hyatt Regency Chicago. Lisa
Lewis and Jenny Patinkin were
co-chairs for this year’s ball, which attracted
a crowd of more than 1,200 guests.
The Children’s Ball caps off the year-long
fundraising campaign of the Medical Research Institute
Council (MRIC) which is a principal benefactor
of the Children’s Memorial Research Center,
one of a handful of free-standing centers in the
nation dedicated solely to pediatric research.
