To thank supporters of the upcoming December 9 Children's Ball sponsored by the Medical Research Institute Council (MRIC) of Children's Memorial Hospital, a reception was hosted by Tiffany & Company at its  Chicago store, on October 4.

The MRIC began its affiliation with Children's Memorial in 1991 and since that time, the group has raised nearly $33 million for the Children's Memorial Research Center.  The research center is one of a handful of free-standing facilities in the nation devoted exclusively to pediatric research.

The Tiffany reception chair was Jenny Patinkin.  The co-chairs of the December 9 Ball are Deborah Beitler and Nancy Berberian.
