On
June 5, City Harvest, New York City's
only food rescue organization, held its third annual
On Your Plate Luncheon and discussion at the Pierre.
This year's featured speakers included restaurateur Donatella
Arpaia and dermatologist Dr. Ellen
Gendler. Joy Ingham, City
Harvest Board secretary and longtime Board member
was honored for her dedication to the organization.
The Full Gospel Tabernacle of Faith Church was
also honored for its dedication to fighting hunger
in Bed Sty, Brooklyn.
The co-chairs for this event were Emilia Saint-Amand, Liana
Silverstein Backal, Topsy Taylor and Carol
Atkinson. The event attracted nearly 200 guests,
raising $200,000.
