On November 20, The Museum of Modern Art hosted a dinner to celebrate the opening of The Lewis B. and Dorothy Cullman Education and Research Building and to recognize benefactors who made the building possible such as Lewis B. and Dorothy Cullman, and June Noble Larkin, along with numerous other sponsors and trustees of the Museum.
The evening included a cocktail party in the lobby of the new Lewis B. and Dorothy Cullman Education and Research Building at 4. W. 54th Street, followed by a dinner for approximately 200 guests in the Agnes Gund Garden Lobby of the Museum at 11 W. 53rd Street.
The opening of The Lewis B. and Dorothy Cullman Education and Research Building marks the completion of The Museum of Modern Art's expansion and renovation project. Designed by Yoshio Taniguchi, the new building serves as a vital link between the Museum and its diverse and expanding audiences, and broadens access to the Museum's extensive educational resources, underscoring the integral relationships between education and other departments at MoMA.
