New Humans performance during cocktails.

The Dia Art Foundation held its annual Fall Gala on November 10 at the new 7 World Trade Center in New York City. Guests enjoyed an evening of cocktails and an elegant dinner as well as a special performance by New Humans, a collaborative group that produces installations, videos, and sound recordings. They presented a sonic artwork and a site-specific light sculpture, performing compositions inspired by golden ratio mathematics and Miami bass music. Gala co-chairs were Nathalie and Charles de Gunzburg and Klara and Larry Silverstein.
The Dia Art Foundation is committed to initiating, supporting, presenting, and preserving art projects. Dia presents public programs and its permanent collection of works from the 1960s through the present at Dia:Beacon, Riggio Galleries, in New York's Hudson Valley. Dia maintains long-term, site-specific installations in the western United States, in New York City, and on Long Island. Dia also continues to develop plans for the renewal of its renowned contemporary exhibition program in New York City.
