Fete de Swifty

Fete de Swifty Committee members.

On September 25, 800 guests attended  the Fete de Swifty, a combination of a street fair and cocktail party that takes place under a huge tent on 73rd Street between Lexington and 3rd Avenues in New York City. Almost  $740,000 was raised for  the Mayor's Fund to Advance New York City,  raising significant support for programs benefiting children and families. The event proceeds this year will benefit the City's Family Justice Initiative, administered by the Mayor's Office to Combat Domestic Violence.  This program provides vital services for victims of domestic violence and their children.

Honorary chairs for this year's Fete de Swifty were Nicole Kidman and Joe and Alli Torre. The event committee was led by Mayor's Fund Board Member Liz Smith along with Stephen Attoe, Robert Caravaggi, David Patrick Columbia, Christopher Meigher and Peter Rogers. The co-chairs for this event were Cynthia and Dan Lufkin, Bill Rodina and Christine and Stephen Schwarzman. The Associate Committee was headed by Liz Finkle Eliot and Gillian Miniter.
