The
Hampton Designer Showhouse to benefit Southampton
Hospital held a kickoff on June 13 at Bermingham & Co
to announce the 2007 designers. The showhouse
will open with a gala preview party on Saturday,
July 21, and run through Sunday, September 2, 2007. Approximately
25 top interior designers and decorative artists
will turn a lavish shingle style mansion donated
by George Gavalas of Gavalas Builders
into a decorating masterpiece. This year's
Showhouse is located at 536 Ocean Road in Bridgehampton,
NY.
Mrs. Alessandro di Montezemolo and Mrs.
Mildred Brinn are the Honorary co-chairs of
the Showhouse. Mr. Mario Buatta is
Honorary Gala chair and Ms. Hilary
Geary Ross is the Gala chair. Mr. Gary
Crain is Honorary Design chair and Mr. James
Alan Smith is Decorative Arts chair. Journal
Management is provided by Ms. Kay
Gilman, Showhouse Management is provided by Mr. Tony
Manning and Showhouse Operations are provided
by Ms. Mary Lynch.
