On
February 19, 2010, the who’s who of Palm Beach flocked to Worth
Avenue’s Wally Findlay Galleries for the premiere of artist Krista
Bard’s “Sacred Words” collection. The evening
showcased the artist’s unique work and benefited The
Hope for Depression Research Foundation (HDRF). The organization
was founded by Krista Bard’s
sister, Audrey Gruss, in honor of their mother Hope.
Guests were able
to enjoy the artwork both visually and sensually, as each piece was infused
with the scents of ancient, biblical and essential oils (including frankincense,
myrrh, spikenard and holy water).
