December 11, 2008, the regal sound of trumpeteers and a warmly lit
foyer welcomed the arrival of more than 100 people at the grand Palm
Beach home of Susan and Dom Telesco, long time Red
Cross supporters, for an evening of cocktails and
hors d'oeuvres to kick off the 52nd International Red Cross Ball
and honor event chairs, Nancy Ellison Rollnick and William D. Rollnick.

For the better part of a century, the International Red Cross Ball
has proven to be a staple of the Palm Beach area society calendar
by connecting generations of attendees to the American Red Cross
and its mission of good will and philanthropy. Throughout its
venerable history as a long-standing Palm Beach event, the world-renowned
charity ball has contributed essential funds to the Greater Palm
Beach Area Chapter of the American Red Cross. The organization
provides essential disaster relief services to more than 1.5 million
people in Palm Beach, Hendry, Okeechobee and Glades counties.
