The exhibition.
|
MOCA LA celebrated the opening of its long awaited exhibition Skin + Bones: Parallel Practices In Fashion And Architecture with a gala on November 18. Over 600 guests including celebrities Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher, Eva Mendes, Michelle Hicks and Isaiah Washington enjoyed the preview exhibition followed by dinner and a performance by Rufus Wainwright.
The exhibition which is on view through March 5, explores the common visual and intellectual principles that underlie both fashion and architecture. Featured architects and designers include Hussein Chalayan, Diller Scofidio + Renfro, Narciso Rodriguez,
Frank Gehry, Ralph Rucci, and Herzog & de Meuron.
