On
Monday, June 9, New York City Ballet's (NYCB)
24th annual Dance with the Dancers benefit, When in Rome…,
brought true bacchanalian revelry to the New York State Theater at
Lincoln Center. 630 guests helped raise over $300,000.
The evening began with cocktails on the Terrace of the New York State
Theater, followed by a seated dinner on the Promenade, which would
have made the Roman god Bacchus proud. The highlight of the
evening was the show-stopping act choreographed and performed by NYCB
dancers, which opened the dance floor for partying into the night. The
dress code for the evening was Roman chic.
Since 1985, Dance with the Dancers has provided the unique
opportunity for business professionals and celebrities from the fashion,
film, and performing arts worlds to interact with New York City Ballet
and its dancers, at an event that has been called one of the parties
of the year.

Platt. Dancer chairmen were: Megan Fairchild, Georgina
Pazcoguin, and Sean Suozzi. Corporate chairmen
were: Carol A. Smith, SVP/Group Publishing Director of

USA.
