The New-York
Historical Society's (NYHS)
held its annual History Makers Gala on November
14 at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine
in New York City. The event raised $3 million
for the New-York Historical Society.
This year's honorees included author
and historian David McCullough, PBS
American Experience host and two-time winner
of both the Pulitzer Prize and the National Book
Award, along with Thomas A. Saunders III of
Saunders Karp & Megrue, and Ivor.
