Over 550 guests helped raise over $1.2 million atthe New Yorkers For Children 7th annual Fall Gala on September 21 at Cipriani 42nd Street. The event began with cocktails, followed by an evening of dinner and dancing. Diane Sawyer of ABC News presented the Freddie Mac Spirit Awardto Sha'Rhone Frost.Isabella Rossellini presented the Nicholas Scoppetta Award for Service to Children to Reverend Alfonso Wyatt. The evening also featured a performance by LeAnn Rimes.

New Yorkers For Children, founded in 1996, creates special programs, funding, research and training projects that have changed the lives of many of the children in foster care in New York City.
