The Otis College of Art and Design held its 29th annual scholarship benefit and fashion show on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Shelley Reid and Adrianne Zarnegin were the Benefit Committee Co-Chairs and Elaine Goldsmith was the Founding Chair.
The black-tie Benefit featured L.A.'s largest fashion show with more than 70 professional models in 175-plus designs for women, men and children. All garments were designed by Otis fashion students under the mentorship of renowned fashion designers.
This year, Otis was proud to present the Creative Vision Award to the new Santa Monica Place. CEO and Chairman of the Macerich Company, Art Coppola, accepted the award. Fabled fashion designer and longtime Otis mentor Bob Mackie received the Design Legend Award.
