On April 18, the St. George’s Society celebrated with an English Ball benefit at the Grand Ballroom of The Pierre Hotel. The Gala evening honored Sir John Bond, group chairman of HSBC Holdings plc who received The St. George’s Society Medal of Honour in a special presentation by president Natalie Pray. Vicki Downey and Nancy Sakas served as gala co-chairmen.
