Jodie and John Eastman and Katama and Jay Eastman hosted a cocktail reception for the New York Stem Cell Foundation (NYSCF) at Jodie and John Eastman's East Hampton home on August 11.  Those assembled heard Dr. Robin Goland, co-director of the Naomi Berrie Diabetes Center at Columbia University, along with NYSCF co-founder Susan Solomon, speak about the potential of embryonic stem cell research to cure the major diseases of our time and the importance of private funding to advance this important science.
