The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston's

was the setting for the elegant dinner.

The
U.S. Fund for UNICEF presented the 2006
Children's Champion Award to H.R.H.
The Princess of Hanover (Princess Caroline of Monaco) on
May 20 at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
The Children's Champion Award is awarded by
the U.S. Fund for UNICEF to a public figure whose
passion for children has contributed to making a
difference in children's lives around the world.
Past recipients of the Children's Champion
Award include Audrey Hepburn, Sir Roger Moore, and
H.M. Queen Noor of Jordan.
Over 350 guests attended
the award presentation reception, with a speech by
Her Royal Highness, a performance by the Boston Children's
Chorus and a congratulatory video message from past
recipient, Nelson Mandela. Over $260,000 was raised
to benefit UNICEF's programs for the advancement
of children worldwide.
